In Orkin's report it list Charlotte Orkin office. Who knows how many counties that that takes in.he city of Charlotte has 224 hotels and the report you posted has 20 hotels.

That is 0.09% or less than 1% of the hotels in Charlotte.

You think I believe Raleigh and Fayetteville are in same metro by an Orkin report. That funny because you think a companies office report defines a metro.

For those who are counting, Raleigh has 89 hotels and the city of Charlotte has 224 hotels.

Poor Raleigh 540 can not get his facts correct.
Raleigh 24 county (apparently) metro including Fayetteville is 2,700,000
Charlotte city is 800,000

the above is the criteria you used for your bedbug stats comparison according to an exterminating company you sited. You had to bring in 24 COUNTIES and 2,700,000 people to surpass just the Charlotte city limits ALONE in bedbug totals, lol ! Nice try

Charlotte: Bedbug capital of NC!

The facts seem to always make Charlotte look bad, Poor Charlotte

List of metropolitan areas of North Carolina (As defined by the US Census Bureau)

No where in these lists does it have Fayetteville in with Raleigh.

You do not take a private companies reports to determine a metro area.

For all official reports, the US Census are used. Not North Carolina, or Orkin reports..

You many find TV coverage reports with Fayetteville-Raleigh-Durham, this has nothing to do with defining what a metro is.
LOL!! You were the one bringing Fayettevile into Raleigh for bedbug stats not me! Bwaaahahaha! I just took your argument and applied it to population and turned it around on you. Please try to keep up !

If you take Orkin office report as your bases for Raleigh Metro, you are a fool.

Fayetteville is a metro of its own.

The Fayetteville Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of two counties – Cumberland and Hoke – in easternNorth Carolina, anchored by the city of Fayetteville. Its served with only one major Interstate which is Interstate 95 As of the 2000 census, the MSA had a population of 336,609 as of the 2010 census the MSA had a population of 366,383. In 2011 the estimated population was 374,157

What you are saying, if a company in Charlotte has for its service area which covers all of western North Carolina, then it is part of Charlotte Metro.

Most restrictive definition, comprising the three core counties of Wake, Durham and Orange in Raleigh Metro, and some times Johnson County.

Depending on which definition of the Research Triangle region is used, as few as three or as many as 16 counties are included as part of the region. All of these counties when included hold a population over 2,167,000 people.Cumberland County is not on this list. LOL

There are four counties that make up the Raleigh metro area: Wake, Johnston, Durham and Orange. Raleigh is located in Wake and Chapel Hill is in Orange County.
