Yea people forget that the cigarettes they smoke are loaded with extraneous chemicals that make them more addictive.

No, we're well aware of it. Don't like smoking? Lobby Congress about it. In the mean time, it's unlikely that the GA will repel the smoking ban.

RJ started all that by adding saccharine to chew (and later cigs) so kids would like it better.
Quite a noble heritage in that business.

My concern is that they will repel it.

My take on it is due to allergy and asthma. Therefor 'like' or 'dislike' does not enter the equation. What I can tolerate and not tolerate on a purely physical health level is.

I hate smoking and I have a prejudice against smokers, but IMO
1. It should be up to individual businesses to allow it or not.....not unlike the recently passed concealed carry law.
2. I think smoking should be banned in public places like beaches and parks. I know there is going to be a smoker who tells me they police up all of their butts, but they are the minority. Most smokers don't even try to hide the fact that they are littering, they'll flick a butt right in front of anyone.
3. I think the fine for flicking a butt of of a car should be astronomical. So much so that smokers would not risk the remote chance of being caught.
