Not to mention bigoted.
And you accuse Bosco of sounding like a broken record! You just keep going back on the same old flawed arguments that would not stand a chance in any court as they are all opinion based and not based on facts.

You have yet to prove how this infringes on ANYONES rights. If today the united states supreme court said gay marriage was now legal, name one way that would Prevent a heterosexual couple from getting married because that's what would be required to "trample the rights of the many" as you SO eloquently put it.

Also how it is bigoted? We all feel it's your personal right to hold whatever opinion you want, it's just when you want to turn that opinion into law we disagree. Now sure it's also our opinion that gay marriage should be legal. The difference is we have prior rulings as well as scientific evidence to support our opinions, you just have a 2000 year old book. Now I know you'll attack the prior rulings as being by ' liberal hack judges' and that the scientific evidence proves nothing, but it then becomes YOUR responsibility to provide facts to disprove the ones we provide. But no, you just attack and ignore anything the contradicts your opinion.

You've got evidence that some folks are born with certain tendencies. There are also people that are born with pedophile tendencies...but as I've pointed out already, none of us are willing to use THAT science to declare a new form of marriage for anyone.

You have prior decisions, as society and the legal system grows increasingly liberal, that's going to happen. But is something right simply because it's legal? Remember how black people used to be second-class citizens? You're as much a bigot as anyone else. Frankly, it bothers me to be compared to you. I'm ok with you disagreeing with me. You can't grant me the same courtesy?

I presume you mean the Bible by this comment. I haven't used the Bible as my justification for why I don't believe we should allow same-gender marriage. But feel free to throw that strawman out there...I'm sure it will get a lot of traction with those on the board that aren't interested in truth anyway.

Your last post was full of irony.
You are again comparing homosexuality with devient behavior.
You are standing up for your opprossesion by saying you are opproessed.
You are calling others a bigot because they do not stand for your ideology of criminalizing gays and wanting government intrusion within their lives.

Can you be any more of a socialist Calvinist?

I'm comparing the stupid argument that they are "born that way" with the same argument that sexual deviants use.

I've not suggested we criminalize gays. You are flat out lying about what I have to say and I find that to be intolerant and bigoted. I expect that from the politically correct thought police nazis, though.

America in Calvinists eyes: America should base laws and traditions as to how I feel are right and wrong and criminalize citizens based on my church's doctrine.
America in founders eyes: America should base laws and traditions on securing everybody's rights unless it intrudes on somebody else's right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Again, more lies. You have a problem with the truth, don't you?

more lies? You are very blind if you cannot see the difference in your philosphy versus the founders. Your religeous ideals are one thing, but you need to separate that from you national goals. Our nation was founded as a unified force of differing people with differing goals and you want that removed to follow only your ideal.

BTW, I have taken several college courses in american history with examination towards our individual rights.

I have never said we need to criminalize gay people. You are lying about me and my position.

You are a liar. No argument about it. I've come to expect that from the thought police nazis...didn't realize you were a liar, too. I used to have a higher opinion of you.

I am not a liar Calvinist. You have been matching up gay marriage against pedophilia. You are sending a very clear message of where you place the behaviors of gay people amongst some of the worst people alive. You cannot sit here and make such claims and then call me a liar when I point it out.
