Just wondering if the Fiat 500 is a chick car.

Not that it really matters what other people think, but hey, I still don't want to be driving a chick car.

I think it looks pretty slick. A little small maybe, but it sure looks sports (especially the abarth)

What do y'all think?

I like just about everything about the Fiat 500. It's only problem is it's a Fiat. I would buy one if it was an Asian make. It is a perfect size, however Fiats are not known for reliability, so I will stay with my American built Japanese makes.

Not if you get the Abarth, the other ones... yeah, maybe a little.

Kind of like the Mini, the stock one is a tad girly, the Cooper on the other hand.

That being said, who gives a hoot, right?

The European Fiat 500s get 46 mpg on the manual.

My friend owns about 20 Fiat 500s from the 50s and 60s.

My reasons for disliking it:

Requires premium gas.
Lower gas mileage than the Toyota Yaris.
Too darned expensive.
Fiat's great "reliability" in the US (Remember the Fiat Brava in 1981)

It reminds me too much of a smart car, I'd get a honda Fit over it, or even a Yaris. Definitely a Cooper.

As for fuel mileage, Yes its nice but the car isn't exactly cheap, are theny like low $20k?

The gas milage on new cars is amazing but the comfort & ride on many of them is crap.
