I like just about everything about the Fiat 500. It's only problem is it's a Fiat. I would buy one if it was an Asian make. It is a perfect size, however Fiats are not known for reliability, so I will stay with my American built Japanese makes.

The European Fiat 500s get 46 mpg on the manual.
My friend owns about 20 Fiat 500s from the 50s and 60s.
My reasons for disliking it:
Requires premium gas.
Lower gas mileage than the Toyota Yaris.
Too darned expensive.
Fiat's great "reliability" in the US (Remember the Fiat Brava in 1981)
The gas milage on new cars is amazing but the comfort & ride on many of them is crap.
