For some reason, i am so in love with Fiat 500 - especially the old one, from 1973. I do not know what it is and why, but this little fellow seems to attracts.
My last year's summer vacation was in Italy i fortunately for me, i saw plenty of them roaming the tiny streets of almost every small town. Even got the rare chance of driving one. My travel buddy, a nice lady from Texas, was amazed when she got inside. Bought one when i came back home - the 500 C, 2015 face-lift. It's 1.3 Multijet (95hp) - i know, it's not much. But it's funny and cute cabrio - easy to park and drive in the big city.

The only time i was inside of a MINI, was when my partner and i decided to try the 2016 Mini John Cooper Works. I thought is was as small as the Fiat, but i ended up in a combi. I enjoyed every second of the ride but i would prefer the "retro" versions.

Strange enough, i have seen a lot of the fellow from the above in Colorado.

And I don't think they're selling. But my god, I love the look of it. Saw it for the first time a few days ago at the Fiat dealer in Albuquerque.
And from the reviews.....real car people have put it up against the Miata and because the back end isn't as squirrely the Fiat is better on handling twisting turning roads. But the gas mileage is worse on the Fiat....substantially when hitting the gas. But the Miata engine's higher HP doesn't make up for the roughness and loss of traction. I guess the Fiat just moves and corners better. Matter of taste at that point.
however it is nice to see the Fiat looking like an old-school roadster that isn't a phallic compensator, like so many seem to be.

Last night on "Pawn Stars", someone wanted to sell Corey a 1967 Fiat 500 for $13,000. It wouldn't start and he passed on it. That original model was much smaller than the 500 sold today.

But the old man loves his 1966 Chrysler Imperial.

I am definitely not a Detroit 3 fan, but I loved the old man's 1966 Imperial, too!
