I'm referring to the video of Chrysler auto workers taking their lunch break at a city park smoking weed and drinking booze (and throwing the bottles into the park) before going back to the plant. After the video was made public, those workers were fired, and later brought back to the plant to go back to work despite the video evidence of them getting high or drinking before going back to work at the factory.
Look at the date of that video was in 2010 was 8 years ago it's not like that today jack, you always post stuff that's old and not true in the new big3. You have a big bug up your butt aboue the American automaker's, and like to put them down with old and outdated information. You never worked on the line you are just making your judgement of what you read , I worked on the line my father retired from GM. You on the other hand never set foot inside a auto assembly plant so you imo know squat about the big 3 automaker's. I live buy Chrysler and Ford, and GM plants and they are putting American people back to work again making a decent wage.
LOL, there is no grand conspiracy by the Europeans to "make" us drive subcompacts. Fiat isn't dumb, they knew the microcar segment is a niche market in the U.S. They've sold over 100,000 of them since they were introduced. Not a rousing success but not a failure either.
Fiat sales are absolutely tanking in the U.S.
U.S. Fiat sales peaked in 2014 at ~46,100 units. Sales fell to ~42,400 units for 2015 despite the addition of the 500L the previous year, then plummeted to ~32,700 units in 2016 despite another addition to the lineup with the 500X. Fiat is on pace for around 30,000 units this year despite another new model in the 124 Spider.
The Dodge Dart, which was built on Fiat's C-Evo platform, saw a similar sales pattern and has since been discontinued. Its platform mate, the Chrysler 200, has followed course. I believe the Jeep Renegade shares its platform with the 500X and 500L, so time will only tell if it succumbs to a similar fate, but it sure doesn't look good. Of course, Dodge Journeys are driving off dealer lots like they're free, so I don't know if American buyers will notice what how mediocre an SUV can be.

If you haven't noticed small cars are not selling gas is cheap sure the 500 isn't selling Chrysler is setting their eyes on the pickups, and Jeep, and minivan. If you haven't noticed Ford Focus isn't selling either that's why Ford is moving production out of the country, small cars have a slim profit margin were as big trucks have a larger profit. And Chrysler has a great 3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine one of the best out there.
I drive a Kia Soul so I WANT to see smaller less visually appealing cars on the road. I don't want to be on the bottom looking up at everybody else. So keep your Fiat's, your Scion IQs, your ( not so) Smart cars, your Chevy Sparks. There's a little BMW I see around that's small but the black and white color paint scheme does look cool.
So what's the dates have to do with the 500 going that fast, have they changed the engine since then it's the same car so it goes just as fast.
