Good morning peevers.

It's already becoming a lovely day and later on I will be picking up Miss J as she returns from her latest jaunt.

Poor little thing- she hasn't been feeling at her best and she puts it down to what we suspect is wheat intolerance.

Are there any foods that you like but that food can leave you feeling poorly? I'm not talking about over indulgence, but foods that disagree with you?

Many doctors over here do not seem to want to recognise food intolerance but both Mrs J and Miss J know that if they have too much wheat based products they suffer for it.

Are there any foods you like, but the food 'doesn't like you'?

The POTD is;

I wish I could eat that, but I shouldn't.

Wheat is in so many things these days.

Looks like Molly is patiently waiting for a wheat-free snack. Are those beef cattle?

Looks like some milkers to me. I've never had any real worries about what I eat. A little too much ice cream can give my stomach fits.

This used to be a problem but thank goodness I out grew my allergies! I used to be allergic to soooooo many things, I had a very bland diet. I could not imagine my life without cheese and milk now and I think I drink enough milk to make up for the ten or so years I couldn't drink it .

I out grew my allergy to milk but now prefer my milk in ice cream and cheese.

Hello, Molly!

Onions.
Broccoli.
Cabbage.
Beans.

These are my worst offenders. I take a product called Beano to counteract the effects. Drinking a strong, hot cup of mint tea after the problem foods also seems to help.

Ice Cream! But it doesn't love me. I have been allergic to milk all my life.

Last night I went to a baseball game and they have a pasta bar...so I had pasta alfredo it's really good.

Now I'm paying the price-

Nice looking cows though

an unusual looking tree.

Good morning.

I eat everything........just have to watch my sugar. I have low blood sugar and if I eat too much, I get shaky.

Like bayarea......onions, broccoli, beans and cabbage are killers but I still eat them.
the older I get the worse this gets.
