Happy to have you here my friends! Thank you!

Do you think that all music and art should be restricted to some sort of standard set of rules?

Should all people have the same knowledge as everyone else?

~ Do you think that when people type or write that they should adhere to the strict set of grammatical rules or should they have freedom to write with their own style that they wish to in order to be unique and/ artistic? - I'm not sloppy or lazy. Yeah, it's a bit of a turn off.

~ Have you ever done any reading in the long-running thread called, "I can't take it any more" in the Writing Forum? - Not in a while...

~ If you have read any of that thread, have you ever found any referrals to a thread that you have ever posted?

~ Do you think that thread is okay? - It doesn't bother me.

~ Have you ever read a book written by Mark Twain? - No

~ Did you enjoy it?

Do you think that all music and art should be restricted to some sort of standard set of rules? - No restriction. Don't like, don't read / listen. I do prefer to keep it classy.

Should all people have the same knowledge as everyone else? - Not happening.

Is there ever 'bullying' that is acceptable? - As an adult I'm more in favor of just walking away. I do not like hassles and have no use for mean people.

Not in my opinion. I am kind.

Friday Questions are hereby abandoned by me. - Are you leaving? That would be quite a shock. Some clarification on this would be nice...

I won't burden any of those perfect people any more. - What?

I still love most of you, in my own unique way! - Hummm.

I think they should be free to write as they wish but if it gets too way out nobody would understand it. Then there's no point in writing.

~ Have you ever done any reading in the long-running thread called, "I can't take it any more" in the Writing Forum?
reading and posting a few things

~ If you have read any of that thread, have you ever found any referrals to a thread that you have ever posted?
They wouldn't dare!
~ Do you think that thread is okay?
sure. If it bothers you, don't read it. (Not you specifically, roosty. The generic anybody type of you.)
~ Have you ever read a book written by Mark Twain?

had to in school.

~ Did you enjoy it?
not especially

Do you think that all music and art should be restricted to some sort of standard set of rules?
not sure about this. Fine line between art and pornography. Not sure how to define the line. Art, yes. Porn, no.

Should all people have the same knowledge as everyone else?
All people should have access to the same knowledge. Knowledge of what is up to them.

Is there ever 'bullying' that is acceptable?
nope

Not in my opinion. I am kind.

yes, you are..and that's a good thing.

Friday Questions are hereby abandoned by me. I won't burden any of those perfect people any more.
I still love most of you, in my own unique way!

I've never met a perfect person. I've met a few who thought they were.

Love you too, roosty.

### Backatcha mr roosty, THANK YOU!

### No restrictions

### NONE, ever.

Good morning, rainroosty, and thank you! And not a single one of us is perfect. I wish you didn't feel as though some people think they are. If you're truly outta here, I will miss you and Buttercup!

~ Do you think that when people type or write that they should adhere to the strict set of grammatical rules or should
they have freedom to write with their own style that they wish to in order to be unique and/ artistic? They should try to stick to some basics but overall, self expression is great!

~ Have you ever done any reading in the long-running thread called, "I can't take it any more" in the Writing Forum? LOL yes, occasionally.

~ If you have read any of that thread, have you ever found any referrals to a thread that you have ever posted? No, but maybe they're there. I haven't checked it out in awhile.

~ Do you think that thread is okay? Sure, why not?

~ Have you ever read a book written by Mark Twain? Yes. I think he's a fantastic author.

~ Did you enjoy it? I sure did. I think I am going to read his biography of Joan of Arc next.

Do you think that all music and art should be restricted to some sort of standard set of rules? Why?

Should all people have the same knowledge as everyone else? No.

Is there ever 'bullying' that is acceptable? I doubt it.

I think that should matter in a workplace environment, not here. The two problems, I guess, are can you turn it on and off (hard to do) and does your audience understand you.

~ Have you ever done any reading in the long-running thread called, "I can't take it any more" in the Writing Forum? Just did a search on my screen name in that forum. In 2010 I posted in "I Can't Take it Anymore" about a professionally made sign in a Maryland supermarket that said "Delly" instead of "Deli." It was one sentence. There are no other posts in that thread by me or mentioning me. But now, I would like to read more current posts by others.

~ If you have read any of that thread, have you ever found any referrals to a thread that you have ever posted? Haven't read the thread but anyone can do an advanced search on their name or their name with a keyword if they want to know.

~ Do you think that thread is okay? Will have to read it.

~ Have you ever read a book written by Mark Twain? The Prince and The Pauper and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Also saw the old 1930s movie for The Prince and The Pauper.

~ Did you enjoy it? Liked The Prince and The Pauper. That's it.

Do you think that all music and art should be restricted to some sort of standard set of rules? Not the art/music itself but whoever displays (art) it or provides the venue (music) should be able to have their own rules. I worry more about a future where people are forced to see or listen to someone or something.

Should all people have the same knowledge as everyone else? They should have the same access to information but you can't lead a horse to water. (Now that I think about it, really? You can't lead a horse to water? Why not? Going to have to look that one up. )

Is there ever 'bullying' that is acceptable? Not in my opinion. I am kind. To me, there is no such thing as bullying on line. Don't feed the beast. Don't engage them. Just ignore them. They get their energy from the victim's reaction. In person, it's a lot harder.

Friday Questions are hereby abandoned by me. I won't burden any of those perfect people any more.
I still love most of you, in my own unique way!
What brought this on, Roosty?

~ Do you think that when people type or write that they should adhere to the strict set of grammatical rules or should
they have freedom to write with their own style that they wish to in order to be unique and/ artistic? Reasonable compromise, this is not a 12th grade grammar test, but still has to be readable.

~ Have you ever done any reading in the long-running thread called, "I can't take it any more" in the Writing Forum? No, haven't been on that forum at all.

~ If you have read any of that thread, have you ever found any referrals to a thread that you have ever posted? n/a

~ Do you think that thread is okay? Sure, if people like it.

~ Have you ever read a book written by Mark Twain? Yes, a few.

~ Did you enjoy it? Yes

Do you think that all music and art should be restricted to some sort of standard set of rules? No

Should all people have the same knowledge as everyone else? No, not all have the same capacity for learning, nor the interest.

Is there ever 'bullying' that is acceptable? No

Not in my opinion. I am kind.

Hi Roosty, happy Holidays!

~ Do you think that when people type or write that they should adhere to the strict set of grammatical rules or should
they have freedom to write with their own style that they wish to in order to be unique and/ artistic?
I am the annoying grammar and spelling police, barring typo's there is no excuse for bad English, writing or talking. I think there are really annoying things about how some people write and spell, it's horrendous. One that irks me is "an", instead of "and". I mean, how hard is it to type one more letter? Unique and artistic comes with the style of writing, not bad grammar and spelling. Unless you're trying to convey a dialect/accent.

~ Have you ever done any reading in the long-running thread called, "I can't take it any more" in the Writing Forum?
Where have I been? There's a writing forum? I'll be there soon.

~ If you have read any of that thread, have you ever found any referrals to a thread that you have ever posted?
I'm not sure I understand the question. I haven't read the thread so no, but I have gotten links to other threads from other posters before.

~ Do you think that thread is okay?
I don't know but I'm going to find out.

~ Have you ever read a book written by Mark Twain?
I'm a writer, not a reader. Weird, I know. Writing is my way of communicating. Otherwise, I don't have a voice.

~ Did you enjoy it?
I would like to read one of his books, if I can focus. I have asked for some science-fiction trilogies for Christmas, that's an interest of mine so I'm hoping that reading them won't be problematic.

Do you think that all music and art should be restricted to some sort of standard set of rules?
Absolutely not. Art is freedom of expression, you take that away then there is nothing left. I would die without music.

Should all people have the same knowledge as everyone else?
They should, but some don't care to learn. The desire has to be there, and the intelligence.

Is there ever 'bullying' that is acceptable?
No I don't think so. I've been bullied, it's a horrible experience. It's so hard for kids who are the slightest bit "different" in some way than the "elite" popular kids, they are going to suffer bullying. Kids are committing suicide over online bullying. It's got to stop.

Not in my opinion. I am kind.
Me too Roosty, unless you **** me off.

Friday Questions are hereby abandoned by me. I won't burden any of those perfect people any more.
I still love most of you, in my own unique way!

Oh, there are perfect people? I'd like to meet one of them and get some pointers. I like your questions Roosty so keep em coming!

Good morning.

~ Do you think that when people type or write that they should adhere to the strict set of grammatical rules or should
they have freedom to write with their own style that they wish to in order to be unique and/ artistic?
They can write with their own style and be unique and artistic while following the grammar rules.
~ Have you ever done any reading in the long-running thread called, "I can't take it any more" in the Writing Forum?
~ If you have read any of that thread, have you ever found any referrals to a thread that you have ever posted?
~ Do you think that thread is okay?
No idea about any of these.
~ Have you ever read a book written by Mark Twain?
Yes.
~ Did you enjoy it?
Very much.
Do you think that all music and art should be restricted to some sort of standard set of rules?
No but I want it to be beautiful, as it used to be in the good old days. Michelangelo, Rubens and so on. Beautiful music, beautiful architecture, paintings, fashion, furniture etc. So when you look at it and admire it you get a positive vibe, emotions, feeling, state. Not the hideous stuff in our times that makes you run away as fast as you can.
Should all people have the same knowledge as everyone else?
It's impossible. Different IQ levels, capacity of learning, level of curiosity, intuition etc.
Is there ever 'bullying' that is acceptable?
No.

Thanks. Have a lovely weekend.
