Had an issue yesterday with a call from the "Health Management Program" offered by my insurance company to help monitor my health "conditions". They called yesterday to verify and update the information they had for me. I guess it showed in my voice that I got a little irritated when they were asking questions that should have had obvious answers from my previous responses. (Q.- Are you still monitoring your blood sugar levels 4 times a day? A.- No, the doctors determined that my diabetic symptoms were brought on by the stress of my surgery. Everything is back to normal without any intervention. Q.- Are you still giving yourself the daily insulin shots? A.- No - See Above. Q. - Have you had any blood sugar readings below 60 or above 200 in the last 2 weeks? A.- ) And it went on from there.
Then it hit me - One of the first questions was "Have you seen Dr. YYYYY recently? I have NEVER seen Dr.YYYYY. (I didn't know he was missing.) Are you still taking RRRRRRRRR as directed. I have never taken RRRRRRRRR. Is your shipping address still PO Box 1234, That Town. I have never had a PO Box, and I don't even know where That Town is. I live in This Town. My information has gotten merged with someone else's in their database. "I'm sorry, I don't want to answer any more questions and I don't think your service is a "good fit" for me. Good Bye."
I called them back a bit later to report the problem to a supervisor, who was unavailable at the time. Supervisor called me back later, while I was gone, and left a message that she was in the office from 8am - 5 pm EST. I called her back this morning at 9:30 AM EDT and got a message that their offices were open from 8am to 5 pm PACIFIC time.
I also got a recorded message asking me to call the Insurance number to answer a few questions on the customer service I received yesterday. When I called that number, I got the beginnings of a RECORDED survey. Sorry, I don't want to press 1 for a certain response, and I don't want to rate the service by pressing a number from 1 to 5. I want to express my concerns to a REAL LIVE PERSON.
My boss has kept the a/c at work set at 66F, even though we are all freezing. No one feels well going from 66F to a much warmer outside temperature. I woke up this morning with an a/c cold. He is not here today, so we've set it to 74, which at least makes it comfortable...until he returns.

cell phone bills too outrageous. I feel like this is really what taxation without representation is. And this new world order that seems to be the goal of tea baggs I suspect it will only get worse unless the majority of heros rise up and say something. It sucks for the few haves to rule as tyrants over those who don't.
