Hey all, just popping in after a day out. Hope everyone's well.

Sorry to hear your son is not feeling well, kib.

I was reading something somewhere yesterday when someone used the phrase "Oh the huge Manatee". I like that very much.

Kobber, if you're about - did anybody ever say "well how do you Frank Ifield?" to you? That always made me giggle. (You tanks won't get that one ).

I remember you.
You're the one who made my dreams come true
a few
kisses ago.

My parents used to play that record. They'd sit on the couch and smooch and hold hands. Very happy memory.

almost every day. It's pizza night tonight! 20 more minutes until the school bus comes. It went by fast today.

Funny you should ask - our fridge is on the blink, so I'm debating whether to try and cook every single thing in the freezer, or say to hell-o with it, and go out.

Morning all... well, it's morning here and way too early to think about what to make for dinner. In fact it's way too early to think.

Fin - I don't actually Frank Ifield if anyone ever said that to me, but I do Frank Ifield that "I Remember You" was the first single I ever bought, at the tender age of 13 (and living in UK). It cost seven shillings and sixpence, which was exactly the amount I received in weekly pocket money... so I must have been totally in love with Frank to spend all my loot on him!!

The first single I ever owned was given to me by my Granny for Christmas or birthday... it was "Seven Little Girls (sitting in the back seat, huggin' and a'kissin' with Fred)". Anyone Frank Ifield that one?

Oh no - defrosting fridge is the worst! We had that happen about 6 months ago - only good part was eating all the ice cream before it melted. Good luck, FR!

That makes my reluctance to cook chicken cutlets (for the second time this week) seem very silly.

I'm going to skip making dinner. I am thinking of going to the casino tonight. You know...the calm, quiet casino, where one is not bothered by offending noise like one would find in a laundromat or grocery store....
