You never clarified what you are talking about -- behaviors, physical characteristics, personality characteristics? Is this something you were born with, or something socially determined?

So... if it is a mental disorder (a mental illness), you would disown them. Would you disown them if they had a physical disorder like eplipsy, which is beyond his/her control?

So I'm just going to answer the OP.

I do not think that my child's sexual identity, and even their larger gender identity, is my concern. My job is to provide love no matter what, and a safe, stable home until their majority. That is all.
