Not far off a comparison when it comes to phones and those addicted really...
No, it really is. Phones serve a purpose. My middle school, and surely by high school, kids spend a lot of time away from their parents. I want to know I can reach my teens and they can reach me at any time. What purpose does vaping serve? Do you see or know of parents making a conscious decision to buy vaping products for their kids for a mutually beneficial purpose?

Have you missed all the discussions about kids being addicted to their phones? Phones are to serve one purpose and that is to talk to someone. That is NOT what they're primarily used for by kids (and a lot of adults as well) nowadays.
I can't see how we ever survived before these stupid "phones" (actually small computers), why we didn't perish when our parents couldn't immediately find us or know where we were is beyond me...
Vaping serves as a less dangerous (as far as we know) nicotine delivery device for those that enjoy it, are addicted to it or get a medical benefit from it (self medicating).

LOL! ok...
I survived by using a land line or a pay phone to call my parents. Those are not readily available any more.
Umm, wasn't "vaping" designed so that (former) smokers could quietly feed their craving for nicotine, and other people wouldn't have to be bothered breathing their smoke?
And now people have done a 180 and don't like it???

I think the opinion is most likely "if you're vaping THC that's okay but not that evilllll nicotine"...

Do you think teens taking up vaping are "former smokers?"
Or they do things like mow lawns, babysit, tutor, etc. which allow for more flexible hours and usually pay more. But these types of jobs aren't reported. My 13 year old has made hundreds of dollars just feeding the neighbors' cats while they are gone.
Yep. My 13-year old daughter babysits for neighbors and earns $10 an hour. As she has no real expenses, that's all "fun money". She has more expendable income than my husband and I!
She also tells me that vaping is widespread at their middle school. Luckily she has strong opinions about the stupidity of it.
