There are 2 different holiday's. Christmas isn't about Christ's birthday anymore, it's about Santa's birthday and fueling our economy, oh and cutting down some trees. LOL Christ's birthday is only happening down at church.

I don't like Bill either. He should have stayed a weatherman.

I don't care for him either. I didn't know he was a weatherman. That shouldn't have been too hard in AZ. The weather 7 days a week hot and sunny

6 years ago, I left Phoenix for Seattle after living in Phoenix for 15 years. It was mainly for career reasons. I believe I made a big mistake and I am trying to get back to AZ. A true example of a crappy city with crappy people would be Seattle. Phoenix is OZ to me!

I moved to Portland OR after living in Phoenix fifteen years and I would have moved back to Phoenix fifteen years ago if I hadn't gotten married. I love the sunshine. I do agree that there are problems, smog is a biggy but I'll take relentless sun over relentless drizzle any day. The really nice thing about the desert is that the heat drops significantly when the sun goes down and the sun goes down early. Fall and spring are gorgeous. I try to visit in either but have been back in summer twice lately and it was as I remembered. Dry and bearable. Put a towel over the steering wheel and a shade in the windshield and park under a tree even if you have to walk farther...

If you want miserable heat go to Miami or Atlanta. Most miserable I've ever been on a trip was a car trip across the South before AC was common in cars.

Arizona Mills mall is scary? We are talking about the mall in Tempe on Baseline Rd? Has JC Penny outlet, Claim Jumper in parking lot? I go there every time I am in Phoenix. I've never been scared. I was just there shopping less than a year ago. Have been every year.

Both my childhood haunts Chris-Town and Metrocenter are a bit scary but I just don't understand people being afraid of Arizona Mills.
