Early mornings are always humid most everywhere, but how about dew points in the mid 70s all day long? That is what I am used to. People saying "OMG it is 38% humidity outside!" just get a chuckle from me, that is a dry day to me. Sorry. Not the same here, not by a long shot.
Dew points in the 70s all day long arent unusual in the Midwest, but not the norm. The point I was making was it was 94 freaking degrees at 6:30AM with a 70-degree dew point and 72% humidity, which in Chicago would warrant heat warnings. Usually Midwestern temps are in the 70s/80s with those types of dew points, which is far more comfortable than those dew points here when temps are close to 100 in the wee hours of the morning.

:::shrug::: The early morning "humidity" here feels fine to me, nothing like what would cause a panic in the midwest. It is normal there. Not even worth mentioning, IMO.

95 degrees with those humidity levels would most likely warrant heat warnings, as heat indices would be over 100 degrees. And I dont know what time you head out to work, but I leave at 6:30 and at that time, my glasses can fog up stepping outside.

I usually leave around 6:30 as well, and never even notice the "humidity." I wear sunglasses and have had them fog back where I used to live on a daily basis. Has yet to happen here.

I guess 94 degrees with a 70-degree dewpoint and 72% humidity in AZ differs from the Midwest.

I guess so, since it doesn't feel humid to me at all here!

It definitely depends on the person. I went out there and tailgated in 120 degrees and it was hot but I could never stay out there in Miami like I did in AZ.

I don't live on the beach so there is no sea breeze. In summer time that sea breeze is a joke. AZ you get a change of weather. In Miami you get that one cool week and back to the humidity hell.

When was it 94 degrees and 72% relative humidity?

I dont really like using Wunderground, but their almanac is useful. The link below doesnt match what Fox showed that morning in Phoenix, but its close enough I guess. Fox Weather here showed 94 degrees about the time I got to work (7AM) and 72% humidity. Scroll to the bottom of the link for hour-by-hour numbers.

This shows 82 degrees with 65% humidity around 7am. That feels a lot different than 94 degrees and 72%.
