The bus system in the Phoenix area is actually pretty decent. You can get anywhere if you have the time.

Not in the west valley, thanks to Peoria, Goodyear, Sun City and Surprise not having bus service

Bus service is also limited in Gilbert and a lot of Chandler (particularly South Chandler), and non-existent in Queen Creek and Apache Junction.

Route 67 doesn't count, because it's small section in Peoria is on the Glendale city limit, and Glendale funds that section.

And the 106 and 138 buses are recent extensions. Those use to end at the Glendale/Peoria city limit
