Very disappointing.

I was hoping you were going to say you're using the cats and pigeons to wipe your butt.

My wife said the only thing not picked over at walmart was the fresh vegetables and low fat products.

I hold the stores accountable as well. At some point the stores need to limit the number of items per customer so that people cannot horde them. A lot of people are also using this to profit by selling them on eBay.

I'm in Pacific Palisades arguably one of the most expensive zip codes in the USA. The local (extremely overpriced) Vons was picked-over bigtime! No TP here and plenty of the shelves were empty. I thought this hoarding was an IQ related phenomena. It seems irrational and illogical people are also on the right side of the bell-shaped curve too.

Wife and I were talking about this yesterday. This is a self fulfilling prophecy, people start hoarding stuff and others, who normally wouldn't subscribe to that mind set, have to start stocking up too since stuff becomes scarce. The problem with that is that this isn't a blizzard, this isn't a hurricane...trucks are still running and there isn't any physical impediment to getting goods to the stores. Just stupid.

That never works. Restrictions like that make people want to hoard even more.

If there's profit to be made, supply will arise to meet demand. In two weeks, everyone will have a years supply of TP in their garage and the shelves will be full again.
