Well, any education can be considered "indoctrination". Our society does pass its culture down through education. So does every other society.

lol i don't either i want kids to be getting drilled with math and science ALL day. More gym time is good to. I also think kids should be taught skills. Im completely anti school system and i wouldn't want the schools we have now opened longer. My argument is that if there was a good system year round isn't the worst thing. But there isn't so they shouldn't

I've heard it mentioned several times, and a few teachers reading a book for whatever reason, doesn't an argument make.

One of my teachers had us read "The Grapes of Wrath" and she was called "anti-Christian" for doing so.
