I didn't throw a fit when students were singing praises to Bush (for Katrina no less, LOL).
Its just kids being patriotic.
My point is, indoctrination talk is coming from "conservatives", but they didn't complain about it when it was their President who was getting praised.
So now academics aren't allowed to have a political opinion, and donate to whom they wish?
I'm sure there were some university employees who voted and donated to McCain.
Oh wait, the link you posted proves that some donated to McCain.
I guess we should just take away their voting rights all together. I mean, only people who work in blue collar jobs, or are multi billionaires should be allowed to donate to the candidate of their choice.
No where in that link does it prove they are "indoctrinating" the students, now does it?
Which colleges? Are you meaning private institutions that people pay money to attend?
So I can complain about bible colleges indoctrinating their students about Christ?
LOL
When I went to college in the 50s mine was not very left leaning, but in the 70s and 80s I attended different ones about every third summer to keep my certificate and found much difference in the history departments of them than the others. All of those places were state colleges and universities and I know what I saw.
How about you. When was the last year you attended, what kind of college?
Hey when are you going to comment on the NEA speech I posted to you? For that matter when will you be watching those 11 videos that were put up for some of you in your group? Talk about them and then say well that was only one school. Yep, each of the 11 was about one school and they weren't all from the same city or region. Eleven times would make me believe that there may well be many more examples. Breitbart did do the research to learn the web addresses of all those schools so maybe you of the left lean could contact some of them to debunk those videos.
I have a problem with the politicalization of the educational system.
And you would've been just peachy if Bush would've done it? Doubt it.
(And FYI - I wouldn't have been a fan if Bush did it either.)
I didn't throw a fit then. I remember singing songs about Ronald Reagan when I was in school, and I don't feel i was indoctrinated. Maybe my dad should have complained more.

I know he was, I'm just pointing out the discrepancy from those who posted earlier. It seems they have no problem when children were "indoctrinated" by singing praises to a conservative Republican President, yet, when a liberal Democratic President is in office, they suddenly care.

Interesting.
It may not be suddenly.
I think with the Internet and 24/7 news, people are just more informed.

not me I always said that. I was a senior when Obama became president.

Did those songs refer to Reagan as our Leader or the One or anything like these kids are being taught? I bet not.
What did 1979 have to do with you and Memphis? You were born then in Memphis, or what. You are very young it that is the story. Now when will you be listening to that speech I worked so hard to get just for you?

Uh no. I would hazard a guess that most conservatives would have a problem with ANYTHING that brought politics into schools.
And, c'mon, there's a HUGE liberal bias that's present in higher education.
