Secondly, I am not bashing Christians for wanting their Church back (I am Catholic, btw). I'm simply stating the reason why the church hasn't been rebuilt yet, and its no conspiracy. It simply has to do with the plans interfering with ongoing construction.
Smash, with all due respect, Obama says one thing and does another.
That goes for Harry and Nancy as well. I will agree it is not a done deal but it ain't looking good for people in my income bracket. Obama has said over and over that he will not renew the Bush tax cuts, I hope he is lying about that.

Raising taxes in a recession would be irresponsible and more proof that he does not mean well.

Maybe if the contruction was not ongoing for 8 years it would have been settled by now.

Wouldn't it be better for America to try to work with him to push his ideas more towards the mainstream rather than try to destroy his presidency?
I'd like to think so. I call him "President Skippy" because honestly...I think he's just in over his head and he's doing the bidding of others. Maybe it's because I don't want to consider the possibility of a US president that does't want the best for the country.

Why are you lying yet again??? Earlier in the thread you claimed to be in the 28% bracket. Not even the slightest bit of evidence to suggest anyone in the 28% bracket will see any increases. In fact the income levels in the 28% bracket will be expanded, and pushed upward. You really need to stop believing in conspiracy theories....

OK Smash, Apparentely you are a CPA. My accountant is and he has estimated my taxes and they are going up. It has nothing to do with my 3% raise and everything to do with this insensitive, mal-intended president and his pals in congress.

You are obviously in denial. I post links to facts and frankly I am tired of it. Next year the Bush tax cuts will be expired unless this president acts.

That tax cut was across the board, period. When it expires it will be a tax increase across the board.

How about the treatment of senion citizens while 47% percent don't pay taxes.

Fact of the matter is what you are claiming does not match up to any of the proposals that are currently out there. You said you are in the 28% bracket and were told your taxes will increase. That is simply a lie, period.

The fact is that you are not a CPA, will not post a link to prove your point. Typical NYC Lib, just call names and run away.

How can you trust DC ?

Let me get this straight. We're going to be gifted with a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president who also hasn't read it and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke.
What the heck could possibly go wrong? Still he and his cronies are not malicious?

My Tax Burden

Go there, punch in your income info, deduction info, kids, etc. Compare your taxes between extending all of cuts, to the proposals put forth by Democrats in Congress and Obama (you need to click on the bottom left to get Obama's proposal's #'s to appear)
