You sound like a very conservative person to me. If you knew anything you'd know that most educated minorities and people of color do not want to be seen as having no color. They want to be seen for what they are a person of color who bring their own interesting culture and heritage to the United States. Let's get educated here. That's true. The statistics show that more Republicans use porno than Democrats. That is funny.
However, my point is that you can't call yourself a liberal Democrat unless you are truly liberal. You have to walk the walk. If you live a lifestyle that is virtually the same as a conservative Republican then what good is it to have different labels? You look like a hypocrite.

So, politically speaking... these conservative democrats have an identity crisis. I think that the parties have changed so much in the past 25-30 years that people don't even know what is going on anymore. To me it's simple.
democrat = liberal
republican = conservative
In my experiences political leanings of today represent:
Democrat = conservative who is tolerant of other people at times when it satisfies their needs or wants. Humor ethnic, racial, and gay minorities by being insincerely friendly or tolerant when you have no desire to support their causes. Perhaps a lot of people do have an identity crisis problem.
Conservative = classism based on religious background, money, and white color of skin.

you seem to have a hangup with race. Your assessments don't add up. Either you are a conservative or you are not. The conservatives i have met do not discriminate based on race. They will vote against both Obama and Harry Reid.
