I hope the idiot roommate and his accomplice are prosecuted to the fullest extent.
Give me a break. If he was that ashamed of his sexual preference that is his own fault no one elses. What his room mate deserves was a good butt kicking but instead he was weak and took his own life.

Why should he be dismissed from the university? This was not done during class. This is BS. The roommate killed himself. That's his business. It's awful but he did it. The invasion of privacy is up to the police to deal with not the university.
Student codes of conduct don't just apply during classtime

what? are you serious. howabout invasion of privacy to begin with. and then think of the social ramifications this might have. the kid was involved in an act with another guy. if he is not open to his peers or family, he is automatically outted, and forced to confront an issue that might get him disowned by his family.
this is a serious problem.

The poster that made that comment has a child, totally dont get it, except for the fact that he seems to be homophobic, judging from his posting history.
There was jsut a 13 year old boy here ( Houston ) who killed himself because he was severely bullied, as the poster stated above.
I am against the death penalty, but I just gotta say that I wish they would put those bullies on the death row!!! Damn pigs.
