How is it not murder? In order to perform an abortion correctly, the brain stem must be severed, or limbs torn apart, or brain matter vacuumed out of the base of the skull, or acid burning; all without anesthesia. Abortion is a barbaric, horrific practice all in the name of "choice." Explain to me why this is acceptable to you?

Maybe what you list above is true in a late term abortion, but the majority of abortions take place very early in the first trimester of pregnancy. The abortion I had at 6 weeks was basically a D&C .

Contraception fails, not even sterilization is 100%.
My point is that conservatives claim to want less government control...except when it comes to abortion, etc.
Its because many see it as no different then killing an adult which happens to be illegal. So for those its not a matter of smaller gov but protecting life. Those that bring this up, should we make it legal to kill adults? To keep the gov out of our lives as far as taking other lives?

Irony? No different than any other elective, legal procedure.
And you are wrong, there is NO 100% effective method of birth control other than abstinence, and we know that's going nowhere!
As opposed to the GOP that pays lip service to ending abortion but makes no real effort, it's too good a selling point for the party coffers to give up.
