Don't count on it. With our government going bankrupt, there will be no redistribution of wealth. That is a liberal pipe dream and another broken Obama promise.

If the country is going broke... a big part of that in my opinion is the republicans wanting to extend the Bush tax cuts to the top income earners, proposing to reduce corp taxes and further reduce taxes for the wealthiest. Those revenues could be used to reduce the deficit! And yes, I don't buy into the trickle down philosophy.

Sure, there are plenty of places where spending cuts can be made, but that's only part of the solution. Sharing the sacrifice or the pain as the republicans have told union members and other public employees should also be shouldered by corps and the wealthiest.

Obama needs to be kicked out of office and impeached. This guy is a clown. He does not answer to the American people. He answers to special interests, lobbyists, corporate America. He can take both the majority of the senate and the house with him on both sides of the political spectrum. It's time we as a nation shutdown the damn government, clean house.........hell if they won't go we'll do it Libya style if necessary! The pukes in Washington either get with the program and start representing the American people and start solving the problems facing this country or as far as I'm concerned they will be found in the streets with colombian neck ties or better yet we'll go French on their ass and bring out the guillotines

What a crock! And I'm trying to be restrained with this post...
You mean like the amount of money the republicans were able to raise in the 2008 election....at one point early in the campaigning, McCain had to get a loan to stay above water...he was flying to town hall meetings on regular commercial airline flights.
