I always say terrorists want to take this country down due in part the the arrogance this country displays, so from that(my) POV, I say Americans are getting worse.

Chime in........

What we should have learned, we didn't. We have to learn to mind our own business and leave others to mind their own. We are hit on 9-11 because of our foreign policies and our invasion occupation of Muslim. When are we going to take a break and listen? Terrorists will always be a bug in our butts until we remove our presence on Muslim and I don't see that happening because we have not got the message yet because of our arrogance.

I vote for "no." We didn't learn anything from the events of September 11, 2001. Then again, that shouldn't be surprising; we didn't learn very much from Vietnam, and we were putzing around there for more than a decade! (Accomplishing nothing, by the way. We got out, and the North Vietnamese united the country under their government, not the one we were backing).

But vietnam as quite different. There were no vietcongs raiding against US. However, on september eleven, Amerika had to give their people an answer. But following counter-attack was made in a too wrong way. Instead of using the failed CIA to look for terrorists, Bush decided to blame two whole nations for what happened before.

By the way, is 9/11 victms memorial built up?

Do I have to point out what a bizarre argument that is from someone whose entire reasoning (and I dare say I am using that word in the broadest possible sense) is based on pixels on a screen, not on the reports from eye witnesses on the scene?

(Except for that handful of witnesses who just happen to deviate from the rest, by saying it was a small plane or that it sounded like a missile - as if all missiles sound remotely alike, a ridiculous idea on the face of it.)

They weren't killed, they were sacrificed.

The Government paid their estates sacrificial pay.
