The same people who say it's ok to burn a flag are the same ones who want to make Koran burning illegal.
OOOOOHhhhhh, an unsupported assertion. That's a tried and true debate strategy, for failure.
The same people who say it's legal to burn a flag want to keep it legal to burn Korans as well. That's right. People who believe in freedom of speech actually believe in freedom of speech. Unlike YOU. You are a person who wraps himself in the American flag, and then disrespects everything it stands for because you don't believe in freedom of speech.

hmmm.... by "OK" do you mean "agree with the act" or do you mean "not against the law"
because these are two very different things.
I do agree that you will find many who will view the burning of the flag in protest to things like American Imperialism will also argue that burning a Koran is just aweful.
I do not agee that all of us who recognize the sanctity of the American view of Freedom of speech are hypocrits who would try to stop a koran burner while defending a flag burner...
Coming from someone who clearly doesn't understand the difference between agreeing with the right to speak versus agreeing with the content of that speech, I'll take your disapproval as a compliment.
I will take your inability to discuss the issue and your willingness to us personal attacks as your nature
The thread reverted to personal attacks when the left can not deal with facts.
Flag burning was treated differently in MSM then Koran Burning.
The ACLU defends both actions.

There were additional issues surrounding the Koran-burning event. Because it was an event. The pastor had played with the press, announcing, canceling, rescheduling his Koran-burning. There were questions about his rationale behind burning another religion's holy book. Such as the fact that his particular church group has been dwindling, and when he first scheduled and announced his plans, his church received an infusion of cash. When money is an ulterior motive, and freedom of speech is being abused as a cash-cow, that makes the act doubly offensive. However, those of us who thought that his act was offensive were also defending his freedom to do so, and questioning his wisdom is altogether a different thing.
The flag-burning was an incident. Not an event. The LSU student didn't schedule a press conference to talk about it.

See the difference.
No both are legal both are defended by the ACLU and one was featured on our MSM one if featured is done so in defense of flag burning, while the MSM does not defend the Koran Burning . Since both are legal why does not the MSM defend both equally aggressive
