The opening of the Morganza spillway will flood about 25,000 families homes.
Why them?
If it were a black community, would he be doing it?
Thanks obama, you're doing a GREAT job!
The "Tin Foil Hat Crowd Strikes Again".
The Morganza Spillway as been around for over 50 years. Anybody with a shred of intelligence should have factored in the fact THEY ARE LIVING IN THE PATH OF SPILLWAY when deciding to live there.
The decision to open the spillway is predicated on the waterflow of the Mississppi River. It's a engineering decision NOT A POLITICAL ONE.
Actually, it's a "pointing out the hypocrisy of the left" thread.
If City-Data is any indication, there is more than enough hypocrisy to go around on both sides.
When Bush was around, the liberals blamed him for everything. Now that we have Obama, the right wing is blaming him for everything. No one one wants to admit that America's problems are complex and have multiple causes and no simple ideological solution is going to fix them. As long as we keep acting this way, we have the government we deserve.
Is this a Joke??????????????
If nothing was done and New Orleans and other big city's were flooded the thread would be... "Obama has created a new Katrina" or "Obama has done nothing to save peoples homes" etc etc and ETC.
Get real...... Obama didn't decide to flood areas.... this was a decision made by the State to try to stop a catastrophy and by the way these areas are black communities..... ever been there?
