Yes, you're correct, the Palestinians have chosen to fight. But that is because previous attempts at peace have not given them fair terms.
Please tell me what those unfair terms might be.

"Ally" is a pretty malleable word in this case. They spy on us constantly and work pretty hard to get us involved in wars that THEY should undertake themselves.
Anyway, Israel is a wealthy nation. They don't need our picayune aid money anyway. They can simply reject the aid money and act on their own without our input. We won't stop them....

The Palestinians are the ones who have chosen to fight. They are given consessions only to break agreements over and over again. When Israel was given their country back they absorbed millions of Jews from the surrounding countries. The Arab countries did the opposite when it came to the Palestinian people.
Again I ask, why do you think 90% of the Arabs that live in Israel want Israel to remain in control?
Why were Arab nations obligated to take in Arab non-citizens of their countries when the Palestinians already had a place to live in....ISRAEL! Or "Palestine" if you prefer?

1967 was not an isolated anomaly at all; rather, tensions had been building for years
I encourage you to look further back in time. What was the cause of the 1967 war? I'll tell you: The establishment of an Israeli state in land that was already promised (by Britain) to Arabs and was already occupied by Palestinians. Now that, is stealing.
