We're in danger of defaulting BECAUSE of our very high debt, it was foolish to pile more on. Very very foolish. And notice we didn't lose our credit rating while they were debating raising the debt, it was after the GOP caved in and raised the debt ceiling.

If we can't control our out-of-control spending, it's going to be controlled for us. Wild unrestrained spending cannot go on forever.

This is a great day.

The liars in Washington have been called out on their bull sh*t promised cuts everyone knows will never materialize. They'll have to face the voters on this one and a good number will be thrown out. That's progress!

This decision by S&P is the latest consequence of the out-of-control spending that has taken place in Progressive controlled Washington, for decades. The spending binge has resulted in job-destroying economic uncertainty and now threatens to send destructive ripple effects across our credit markets.

Conservatives and finally right leaning Moderates, have listened to the voices of the American people and worked to bring the spending binge to a halt. We are no longer debating how much to spend, but rather how much to cut. Unfortunately, decades of reckless spending cannot be reversed immediately, especially when the tax & spend Progressive Democrats who run Washington, remain unwilling to make the tough choices required to put America on solid ground.

Either they are too stupid to realize that taking credit for America's credit rating downgrade is anti-Ameriacan, or they were too stupid to comprehend what their speaker said.

If there was ever a question of this group's patrionism this shows it.

VIDEO: Tea Partiers Cheer the Downgrade of America's Credit Rating | Mother Jones

So are they anti-American or just plain stupid? Or both?
Because they warned both the Republicans and Democrats about excessive spending and raising the debt ceiling, but they didn't listen

the tea party is a disgrace. These people have tunnel vision and want their way or the highway.

the blame game is what it's taking this country down the toilet. The tea party doesn't care about their country, they only care to "be right", to be told "oh you told us so" and to get their way even if it means economic disaster.

Both parties need to compromise. You cannot not get your way only in a compromise. It takes two for a compromise OK?. It's not that hard, raise revenues and cut expenses. Any 2nd grader can figure that out.
