i wish it were so easy to nail the bad guy. then we could outlaw unions and get our jobs back but the concerted effort by big biz and DC to offshore american jobs marches on, with or without unions.
But American Axle in recent years went through a wrenching period, marked by an 87-day day strike in early 2008. It ended up closing its Buffalo and Tonawanda operations. Workers criticized the company for shifting more of its operations out of the country -- complaints the UAW repeated this week.
87 days. And the unions wonder why business is flocking to right to work states and overseas, if necessary.
