I love how whenever its a Democrat/Liberal, it'll end up being some basic, simple scandal, but when its a Republican/Conservative, its usually always something weird. Like an underage, midget transsexual who's autistic, or something...
I think that has to do with the need to hide and suppress their feelings on the Republican side to pander to their base. Democrats/liberals may get caught having an affair, but it's not like that's uncommon, in fact statistically most people will have one. It's not like Democrats would be very harmed coming out gay, because the liberal base doesn't usually care (well the black liberal base does, but that's a different issue).
Republicans spend their entire lives preaching the conservative religious, anti-gay, "traditional values" mantra to win the religious vote. So the one's that are secretly gay struggle to live a double life, and end up going though rather hidden means to fulfill their attractions such as escorts, online encounters, restroom quickies, hoping that no one will find out. Obviously they aren't very good at hiding it.
One would think to have a civil, intelligent discussion, but we all know that doesn't exist on the Politics forum.
There is no such thing on 95% of the topics posted here, I started as being serious and learned my lesson, it's all just for fun and if a person thinks they can change anything in here they are living in a different world The entertainment value is priceless.
If they don't resign, they are frequently voted out in the next election whether Democrat or Republican.
I'm always happy to see them go because I want responsible, serious, well-motivated people in these kinds of positions of power......HAHAHAHAHA!! Like that's the kind of people who gravitate to government.
