Seems as though you are the coward in failing to address your initial statement.
Lets work in that issue first, and then we will work on the issue that you seem to have have about women.....

Most of 'em, except for Earth.

1. Heavy snow areas are not likely , likely to become so bad as your life would be in danger during a snow storm your holed up for days if your in a remote location. Eventually the snow disappates. Stock up on food , have meds , electric blankets, candles , heaters, fireplace and so .. more than likely you would be fine.
Those things actually are not such a good idea in heavy snows. Fireplaces these days are more designed to be decorations and not to heat places. As such opening your flue and having a fire will likely result in most of the heat being sucked out of your house through the flue. Secondly the most dangerous thing you can have when you are seriously snowed in and the roads are impassible is open flame. This is simply because if your house catches on fire there wont anyone coming to save you, or if there are they will likely not be able to get there in a timely manner. It sounds counter intuitive but fires are a huge problem during major blizzards. Flashlights and blankets are definitely a good idea and a gas oven is nice as well if you have it.

Did you even bother to read that comment?
It appears your just looking to argue !
You're the one who stated from the seat of your high horse that residents in hurricane areas show a "lack of judgement". I still want to know where this perfect world of good judgement and good weather is. Obviously you don't live there or have good judgement either since you also stated that there are tornados where you live. Apparently you live in that glass house on the golf driving range.

In my reply I included facts on the different strengths of a tornado
if a tornado occurs here it is likely to be an F0 or an F1 , very little damage

More damaged is caused by straight line winds than those little pesky things

Its not as if every tornado that touches the ground is an F4
they are rare repeat they are rare.
I also included a mapof tornado alley where most of these monsters form
And FYI its not any place near Cook County <IL
