I don't know about the general membership of the Tea Party but some of the hard Right posters on this board are certainly fascists. I doubt most of them would admit to it, given it's negative connotations, and probably just consider themselves "patriotic."
I slept a lot better before Internet message boards existed and I was blissfully ignorant that so many of these nutters actually still existed in our country.

Looking at the posts from both sides, the video of the Tea Partiers rally, the video of that one woman saying Obama is going to pay her bills, it is apparent that we have a major problem with misinformation and sheer ignorance in this country. But, sadly I feel that this post will fall on deaf ears as you guys continue to bash your respective ideologies against each others. If you look and analyze the new properly, you will find that the truth is somewhere in the middle. Of course using information from politically slanted news sources is not going to help. And when I mean slanted I mean fallen off the deep end.

All the parameters I set forth are in essence the Tea Party agenda and I did not write the tenents of fascism......academics and historians did.

Show us "Liberals" and Moderates/Independants and Americans who can reason for themselves......... where the Tea Party ideas set forth are inaccurate......it's all the Tea Party's own words my friend. People need to wake up......the Tea Party tried to recently cripple our economy and credit rating........as said by both Moodys and Standard and Poors.
Seems like even hard core 'left wingers' and their media cronies have began to realize that, after 3-years, they cannot credibly continue to blame GW for every obvious failure and shortcoming of the current administration and anything else they see as flawed in this country.
So, I guess until the 2012 elections (and probably beyond), the 'boogeyman Tea Party' will now be blamed for each and every failure. Somehow, it always seems that appropriately placed blame is viewed as a viable alternative to actual leadership or solutions.
Of course, the dreaded 'Tea Party' label is only a "loosely contrived" euphemism collectively applied to anything the left considers 'too far right or conservative'. This works out well, since they can invent an unlimited range of dasterdly deeds that they can indirectly ascribe to republicans ... without any real specifics, details or individuals. (This tactic is no different than if the Republicans blanket-characterized everything 'left' of themselves as the "Looney Liberal" party ... and perhaps associated them with the Communists --as the OP has attempted to do with the Nazis and the Tea Party).
Meanwhile the 'mighty ship of our country' will sink before the politicians and othes began to seek solutions and leadership, instead of creating polarized, name-calling 'bastions of blame'.
