It's amazing what a good education, a good choice of major, an entreprenurial spirit, a solid work ethic, and an "its up to me to be successful" philosophy does for a person!

The granola crusties rebelling on Wall Street should take a page from my book.
What does your minor financial achievement have to do with a corrupt electoral process and white collar crime? You're not the issue.

Why is when the left demonstrate/protest idiots from the right always says crap like get a job? Yet when people from the right demonstrate/protest they are silent? Just because some people protests, it doesn't mean they don't work. It's a stupid comment to make.

This thread is awesome! It paints the picture of how America has devolved to a nation of handouts and expectations of handouts. No doubt, many of these people would LOVE to be working, but there are MANY who wouldn't know hard work if it fell out of the sky and hit them in the head!

In Liberal Utopia, America is a nation of hardworkers who simply want to work but can't find a job. In reality, we have millions of people who simply do not know how to make good life decisions. For that reason, I offer no sympathy.

Typical right-wing Catch-22.

Seen the unemployment numbers lately?

Predatory lending?

Are you serious?

Did they make her an offer she could not refuse?

"Here, take this money OR ELSE something bad might happen, if you know what I mean."

Minor? I only represented 9 months out of 2 decades of success. No reason to toot my own horn too much, you know.

You are correct, the system is corrupt. But rallying at Wall Street is one thumbnail of the problem. When will the granola crusties protest Liberal Government for the same crimes and corruption?

Never, because there's a liberal in office. You know its true. Don't deny it.

I think Anne is a bit extreme but I think she is spot on this one.

Lazy hippies and people that just want to start fights and break stuff.

Start their own company using a skill they have? Student loan? Unemployment for college graduates is something like 4%. Volunteer for a company for a few weeks and prove yourself?

Good point. I'm a Christian but I do have some books from Paulist Press.
