Like I said, just like restaurants, groceries, convience stores, farms, farmers markets.....they all have this problem.
You better not eat out or get groceries from the market or heck canned goods are notorius for having critters run amuck on the can tops in the warehouses. OH! and soft drink cans.....they run on those too. The horror!
But these people are sleeping there among the rats. Yuck. Bring in the cats at least.
Not to change the direction of this thread but the last time I was in the Court of Two Sisters restaurant in New Orleans, there was a big rat (a rodent I mean) on the tree limb above our table. The waiter knew him by name.
Not just rats...I just heard a snippet on the morning news that an abandoned child was found at an OWS camp...don't have time to check the details (I have to leave for work in 5 minutes), but keep your ears/eyes open for this story. I heard it on Fox and Friends, so the story may not be on any of the main networks.

I will be glad to post that for you....yet another instance that is not OWS related. A father attempted to abandon his baby at the camp and was charged with child cruelty. This is very sad as there were options for him.
I am not lying, there is no need...that is why I pointed out on your post about TB that the full truth was not disclosed. What you posted was a slant to slam them.
Did I say that the homeless were uneducated? No I did not, so do not put words in my mouth or twist my words to suit your agenda. I did not read your links as I am not interested....when you posted the first one that wasn't true, I lost interest in your links.
If you had read them, you would have seen what the homeless had to say about the protestors. Unlike your link that was a lie. Your link fully stated, they hadn't helped anyone, but their selves.
No need to argue with kitty, she is right, even when you prove her wrong...as I did....in other threads....she will spin and spin....
She must have me on ignore, but anyway, that link is from ATL, not DC....
And just like she is doing to you, saying read up, they are doing it, really...but refuse to provide a link....and expect her to take what she says as the truth....even when her own links prove she is lying....so sad actually....
Think I'm figuring that out, bet she's a OWS................Why provide a link that directly says, the "MIGHT" help those homeless people, as they take over their shelter. One women said, they use to get blankets at night, but because, these protesters are not returning them, the homeless have to do with out. Instead of serving gourmet food, now they are serving P&J sandwich's. So, much for what's mine, is yours also attitude!!

Do you read what you post? That guy had been there in the OWS camp for a week....why would NOT be considered part of OWS....
Yes, it's sad...and pretty pathetic...for a father to leave his child...
But, to say he is not part of OWS is a lie...he was there for a week or more...
Yeah, like they know everyone involved. Easy to claim, we don't know the person, when there's thousands around. The guy knew the place well enough, that he felt comfortable pitching a tent in their area.
He might not have been one of them, but this is the sick stuff, they're enabling to happen.
