You cant be serious? Did you even listen to the state of the union address where Obama blamed the 1% for the deficits, and government not having enough, or their greed.
As opposed to the Right that blame the poor for being everything from too lazy to too corrupt to work for our deficit?
If railing against people that need welfare (of which there are vastly more than there are millionaires) isn't dividing the country, then you have no case for Obama dividing the country.
So what explains Obama's first two years, where the dems controlled EVERYTHING???
Don't use Obama's skin color as a crutch, for your inability to defend him. Don't try to use the legitimate disagreements we have with Obama's political ideology, and legitimate objections he have over his wasteful government spending and his crony capitalism, and disguise it as racism.
Legitimate political disagreements are fine. President Obama has had to endure racism and being questioned as to whether he is a US Citizen and produce a birth certificate.
In case you aren't aware "wastefull" Government has been with us forever. It just depends as to what you deem to be "wastefull".
"Crony Capitalism" will be with us whether Obama isn't re-elected or if he is.

You dont need to take wealth from the 1% to grow wealth for the other 99%, but thats what this president believes. Its so utterly ridiculous and false that I wonder how many people could vote for this stupidity.
To add some context to this idea that the 1% are NOT paying their fair share, and if we only raised their taxes, all would be made good and wonderful.
- Let's get absurd and assume that the Federal government confiscated EVERY dollar from these 236,000 Americans who earned over a million dollars in 2009. These people earned about $727 billion.

If we took that $727 billion, it would pay for ess then six months of Obama's $137 billion in monthly deficit spending.

That $28 billion in increased tax revenue would only get us $2.3 billion each month, and would not make a dent in the Obama deficit spending.

Point made on the Democratic Congress. The President isnt Congress, though. But you made a point. However, there's no disputing the facts that the racists and many in the GOP didn't have legitimate disagreements with the President. It was going to be their way, or no way at all. FYI this Independent has no plans on reuniting with any far right-wingers either, the insist on playing Partisan politics even to the point of harming the Nation, to me they are the enemy. So there ya go, We do not want to be reunited, but at least be Honest, it has nothing to do with the Presidents Pledge to try to reunite us, it is because you hate him and anyone that dares support him, the feeling is mutual, and refuse to do so
