For all of you who believe in the childhood obesity "crisis" and support government action to "correct" it....well...this is what you get.

Every time you subscribe to the latest health "crisis" you empower this very kind of thing.

The State's agent inspects the lunchbox and tells the little girl her lunch does not meet the States criteria. Are you kidding me?
If you like this kind of government control vote for Obama.
Preschooler’s Homemade Lunch Replaced with Cafeteria “Nuggets”

If we did not like what was being offered in the cafeteria that day we would walk down to the gas station and get a moonpie and an RC cola.

There appears to be a great deal of conflicting information in this article. From the administrator saying “It sounds like the lunch itself would’ve met all of the standard.” to them providing her an entire lunch (Of which she only at the nuggets) when the rule is that only the missing element is provided by the school. Either there is a lot of administrative incompetence at that school, or someone isn't telling the truth.

There is an obesity crisis, and it's not confined to kids. Think of how many overweight people you know, especially those over 35. Government is not the answer, education and healthy lifestyles are.

No longer satisfied to be the bully on the playground stealing lunch money the statists resort to stealing sack lunches and forcing their victims to consume what they want rather than what the parent has provided.

Statists demand submission.....or else!

Solyent Green anyone?

Horse hockey. It's only a "crisis" because the health-Nazi's have scared you into believing it.

And, just as before with tobacco, seat belts, fatty foods, salt and other "unhealthy" things, when education doesn't work, the next step is government enforced compulsion. It always is.

Seeing is believing. Majority of people, especially men, I see who are over 35 are overweight.

Actually, anything can be declared a "crisis" if some politically connected entity can get rich milking it for profit.
