So? What makes that a "crisis" worthy of sticking your nose into their lives?

The answer is people have to get off their asses and exercise, especially kids and I'm not referring too PE or organized sports.

Many so called Libertarians nowadays are nothing more than corporate rights activists. I stand by my claim, I'll match your support for individual rights any day of the week, now when it comes to corporation rights, you probably have me beat on that.

Eat less, move more. Unless you are very young and training like a Navy Seal, eating a Big Mac and supersizing the fries and coke will make you heavy.

Libertarians are not for "corporation rights" as that would be Corporatism.

Read the food labels. It is about additives, the GMOs and the disproportionately high amount of grains & carbohydrates pushed by the screwed up FDA "food pyramid".

Theft in the name of school lunches and food mandates upon children is not a position condoned by those who believe in limited government and maximum individual liberty.

I agree, it should be up to the parents. To pretend that there aren't many fat Americans is to be willfully ignorant. I think all you can do is to try to educate people. I tell my friends and family members about all that garbage they add, some listen and others dismiss it and say "You got to enjoy life" Nothing wrong with enjoying life, but you don't need a double chin and 36 inch waist to do it.

That was not the point. The mom in the story was giving the kid good food, better than I used to get50 years ago. Are you thick?

Check your emails, I sense spam coming.
Carolina Journal's known for making up stories out of whole cloth to drive ad revenue, and there's no local news story on any of the regional affiliate sites.
