I wonder if this student insurance plan was one of the plans that received a waiver from Obamacare? It seems to be lacking in dollar one coverage that was mandated by Obamacare.

I found Fluke's testimony to be shocking. These are not the feminist women I grew up with. They take no responsibility for themselves and their health. It sounds like if the university doesn't provide them with what they want or what they need for their health, they will just let it happen. A student chose not to be examined after a rape because she thought it might not be covered?! A woman let her ovary burst because it wasn't covered? No one is imprisoning them at this expensive school. I like the married woman who is just going without contraception at all because it isn't free. So she will get pregnant and ruin her life rather than use an OTC method, her husband can't afford condoms? Seriously, if I didn't want a baby and had no bc at all then no sex. I knew this as soon as I knew what sex was. It isn't a third world country, 7-11s are everywhere.
Rush was wrong to call her the s-word, there were so many better things he could have used for her and those ignorant, self-hating child/women who would choose to possibly die rather than take control. I do not think PP would have turned away the rape victim or the polycystic ovary woman- at all. Or the poor married law student.
The insurance system is broken and there are many more stories noncoverage which affect both genders. But anyone who compromises their health on purpose, I don't know what to say, if these are educated people in our future we are in huge, huge trouble.
