There is no "unprecedented attack on the church." Since the 1990s, 23 states have required insurance plans to pay for contraceptives and there was no public objection. It only became an issue when the black-guy in the White House wanted to do it. Then, the GOP made it a campaign issue.
Except that the black guy in the White House helped pass that regulation in 2009 to be effective in October of 2011.

So ask yourself why this became an issue in Feb. of 2012 and then get back to us.

LOL... they're discussing how long till this blows over so they can again advertise on his show. Advertisers had to bow out... it's the politically correct thing to do in order to show the buying public their "sensitivity."

Default Hey, new advertisers have shown interest!

It appears that the - ehm - discreet dating services for non-single people? - have shown interest in advertising. They apparently feel that with Mr. Limbaugh's listeners showing such an interest in ladies of questionable virtue or even negotiable affection, it's a relevant time slot to advertise their services.

Those advertisers will probably reach more listeners than every Liberal talking head in this country, combined.

The most popular talk show host in the country. EVER.

Seems to me it became an issue when the RC church objected to it -- and rightly so. Others picked it up and ran with it because it IS an issue when the government dictates that a religious institution must pay for or perform procedures that violate their tenets. No matter how you feel about it, let's be fair -- you must agree that the basic issue is government mandating such a thing.

Does the government require that Jehovah's Witness organizations pay coverage for transfusions? The government might deem transfusions helpful -- even necessary -- but does it mandate they be covered for all JW employees?

What happened to separation of church/state? That works both ways, you know.

Bwaahhaahahaha! The irony is so sweet. Gingrich will no doubt avail himself of the services.

But it is not about that, it is about preventative bc being government mandated for purposes of routine contraception and this is what people have a problem with, not the use of them for medical treatment.
How is the insurance carrier going to know if the script was for medical or BC purposes?

This 30 year old WOMAN enrolled in a Jesuit University and then proceeded to complain about their BC policy.

Again, she can afford $65K a year in tuition but can't afford to pay for her own BC at $9/month?
She's on scholarship.

Many law students finance their education through student loans. Is this class envy or something?
