Someday I do want to drive across this great nation and see every state. This country is big enough, and has plenty to see and do.
Me too! I've probably covered around half of the US, but there's still soooo much left to see... I dream of renting an RV one day, and driving from coast to coast (and everywhere in-between).
For starters, my man Bill was the best POTUS in all history. The only thing he needs to take the fall for is making the Republicans look ignorant. Heck, Bills bed room was the #1 tourist destination in the WORLD when he was being the most amazing POTUS.
No, the blame squarely falls in Catholics. If Catholics were not so tied up in abortion and embryos, they could have been useful for a change and help build some damn resorts.
That is fine - the Bush family should have paid for the Secret Service too.
Why?? Isn't it the government's job to protect the government's leader... for example, would you suggest a military general pay for his/her own protection while ON THE JOB? And since the POTUS and his family are never off-duty, I guess we just have to consider Secret Service protection to be a "job perk."
Why?? Isn't it the government's job to protect the government's leader... or would you suggest a military general pay for his/her own protection while ON THE JOB? Guess we just have to consider it a "job perk," since I sure wouldn't feel right asking them to pay for their own security.
I cant belive you will sink this low Gizmo!!!! Military leaders need protection. This aint the catholic church where they can afford to put people in a bullet proof glass box for saftey. Its the tax payers duty to give our leaders the best entourage money can buy, which pretty much amounts for nothin these days. China be robbing us blind I tell you.
And you forgot about Alcatraz! They (the city of SF) actually proposed reopening it as a prison, or using it for other non-tourist purposes in a recent election... the locals were NOT having it, and voted against doing anything but structural restoration.
