Good thread topic, I've been wondering about this myself.
I was in college when the Rodney King verdict came out shooting pool with a friend at the U of IL student union. About 100 black students came in and sat on the tables in a silent protest which I respected. (I did know the gal that ran the place and she told me she had to order about 5 sets of billiard balls after that because of theft but that stuff happens.)
So? Theft happens and it's ok? Theft happens because some criminal stole something.

However, my friend who was a complete pacifist and anti police brutality....happened to get caught walking home from computer lab and got jumped for being white and beat up. I had to drive my roomates beater car up to pick him up from the hospital.
But of course this is ok, because only white people can be racist?

In other parts of the country it was just an excuse to loot and steal....while in some it was respectful protest.
Looting and stealing is done by criminals, and they should be locked up, or in the case of protecting your family and property, shot dead, which will stop them from looting/stealing, permanently.

It's dicey whether Zimmerman will ever be arrested but I suspect he would clearly lose a wrongful death suit.
He should be arrested, but for his actions we would not be having this conversation. He is indeed complicit in this young man's death, but the seriousness of the charges are offset by the fact that he was in fact assaulted.
obomba may as well invade zimmermans home and shoot him in the face.
Lefties like that.
And lose a valuable member of the Democrat party, not to mention alienate the Hispanic vote? Not likely.
