Is this a joke? Seriously. Zimmerman pursued and killed a man. Zimmerman needs to answer to this and the facts need to be considered. That is how the American Justice system works. Let a jury of his peers decide.
And rightly so. That doesn't change the fact that presuming innocence doesn't mean he actually IS innocent. That's why there's an investigation going on right now, yes?
My point was that calling him a "scapegoat" implies that he IS innocent, which I think is an unjustified presumption at this point.
Please tell us why? How will prosecuting an overzealous fool that killed an unarmed black kid cost President Obama votes?
I doubt it will, but I can see where it could. If it turns into a national show trial and Obama doesn't stay out of it then he could be hurt when it's proven the liberal lynch mobs were railroading an innocent man to promote racist rhetoric.

Yeah, sure, that's exactly what he's saying. Any reasonable person will read the statement "Obama will be hurt by the Zimmerman case" to be exactly equivalent to "I want to declare it legal to shoot black people on sight".
