Actually food stamp funding comes from the USDA but you already knew that didn't you military hater.

Nothing quite says it like a pie chart.

Besides if the US Guv stopped feeding people, they will need to bring the military home to stop the revolution.

Gov't, needs to downsize and get out of meddling in everything.

Then there will be no need for entitlements.

Hungry people?

Buddy, I'm on my way out the door to go to Walmart.

When I get there, I'll see food stamps (Bridge cards) being used by lots of people, but hungry?

No way.

These people are too morbidly obese to walk all the way back to the ice cream isle without developing heart palpitations.

These big fat fat pigs load the electric carts with steaks, shrimp, crab legs and Hagen Das, then pay for it all with money stolen from those too young to vote.

Yeah, thanks for pointing out the suffering of hungry people in America Visvaldis.

May all the people who scream for cutting out food stamps have to deal with starving people throughout this country if you succeed. Even though "poor people" is an easy target to make you feel better about doing something in re the budget, poor, hungry people will not be easy to deal with. Even Paul Ryan is NOW distancing himself from the great individualist Ayn Rand in order to proclaim his Christianity. Where does it say in the Bible that poor people should just starve because it may required tax money to help feed them?

Yes starving folks in the US are obese. You want to see folks "starving" go look at kids in Africa happy to get a bowl of rice a day. Beans that's only for special occasions like one day a year when the local dictator decides to open the warehouse because he had a good day. The cart warriors are surely a sight to see at wally world.

Nice try but fail. What makes more sense, take cuts from something that is ridiculously over bloated with spending like the military, or something that is a tiny piece like food stamps?

Good. Military is in the Constitution, food stamps not so much.

Tough one for me, if you cut the military that means people out of work, that means less innovation and less intellectual capital as well. That's quite a loss.
