I don't even know what to say about this nonsense. I mean do the conservatives seriously believe that the way to get more of the Black vote is to equate the Democratic party to a slave plantation. Are they that idiotic?
Are they ignorant enough to say that Blacks vote Democratic because we want handouts and then turn around and call us slaves? Is that their game plan? Seriously?
The problem with that strategy is that more than anything it highlights that the (White, male) power structure of the GOP fundamentally views Blacks as "others" or "not like us."

But trust me, if the tables were turned on them in an attempt to get them to undestand why this is so offensive (and is just plain stupid)...they wouldn't get it.
They don't "get it" that holding someone like Herman Cain out as an alternative to Barack Obama is quite frankly insulting. They are just plain ole clueless. And it shows just how shortsighted the GOP actually happens to be in the same way that they believed that putting a "skirt" (aka Sarah Palin) on the Presidential ticket was all that it would take to get the women's vote in 2008.
The GOP's frat boy mentality has gotten old and they do themselves no favors because the frat boys and their sorostitue wives are no longer running the show in America. A new day has dawned and they don't even see it.

And as long as this ^^^ is the prevailing attitude of the MAJORITY of the Republican party, the GOP will continue to cater to the bigotry....and they we continue to fail to get the Black vote, the Hispanic vote and the Asian vote. Even Asians vote predominantly Democrat.

Wow a bunch of conservatives will advocate conservatism, big deal. Until republicans have an actual plan to help African Americans they will not vote for them. That goes for other minorities as well. A lot of it isn't even policy it is the way they get talked about, the whole welfare queen talking point. If they had some serious black candidates it would be different, Herman Cain is not a serious candidate condi rice would fit that description honestly.
