When I was a kid, I hated getting clothes from JC Penny because I thought they were gay, so the two dads marketing campaign isn't telling me anything I didn't already know. Doesn't really matter though. I don't know of a gay niche outside of New York, Key West or San Francisco. This pro-homosexual marketing strategy is doomed to failure. Consumers just want to buy the products a store has to offer. They don't like it when a retailer gets all preachy and up in their business.

How the hell can kids clothing be gay????

Actually, JC Penney can't afford to lose any more customers. Their new pricing structure turned off a lot of people, and their advertising is turning off more. They posted a huge loss in their first quarter.
Quote:
For the quarter ended April 28, Penney reported a loss of $163 million, or 75 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier profit of $64 million, or 28 cents a share. Excluding markdowns to reduce inventory levels, restructuring costs and pension-plan expenses, the latest quarter's loss was 25 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier profit of 36 cents. Total sales declined 20% to $3.15 billion. Same-store sales slid 19%; analysts had expected a 13.3% drop.
Just imagine this advertisement with an ED product being sold instead. Or the homosexual version of enzyte Bob with the smile on his face all the time and 15 guys all hanging around him.
I am very sad that even Father's day is being tarnished by this pro-gay crusade. I cry for America.
