Ah, the good old argument "don't listen to medical professionals, listen to the drug addicts. They'll tell you how harmless drugs are". Sigh.......

That post is incredibly stupid.

What doctor do you know that doesn't base his assessment on patient feed back. Fact is EVERY one of your lame studies is based largely on what a patient told a doctor/professional. AGREED?

Pot is completely harmless, take my word for it, we dont need to make users criminals becuz they use it.

Default Oxycontin is a narcotic, but MJ?

Narcotic?

It doesn't have a known lethal dosage.

It doesn't produce major physical withdrawal.

It doesn't keep requiring a larger dose to get the same effect.

Since it lacks these 3 common characteristics of a narcotic, why should it be considered a narcotic?

It's less intoxicating than alcohol. Is alcohol a narcotic? Govt won't even call it a drug. Double standard?

It's about 1/5 th as addicting as tobacco. Does govt call tobacco a narcotic? No, they lie!

Cannabis is extremely different from Oxycontin & heroin, both highly addictive.

Default Cannabis legalization solves problems

The phony drug laws say cannabis is illegal because it's dangerous & has no medical value, according to the 1970 Controlled Substances Act, signed by racist, bribe-taking, paranoid alcoholic Richard Nixon.

Nobody is proposing removing all laws. It's just that many feel that it is wrong to call something a crime when there is no victim. I don't know everything that was wrong with that 19 year old mother. Think she is alcoholic and has many other problems. Not everyone has a normally functioning brain all the time, even if no drugs were involved. Why not drug test for legally prescribed drugs? Because Big Pharma buys laws?

Cannabis was known to Drs. in mid-1800s as best treatment for anxiety, anger, depression, psychosis. Now known to be helpful for 126 medical uses. Many say cannabis saved their lives, is that bad?

Cannabis reduces suicides, assaults, homicides, helps get people off more dangerous drugs.

If you don't want to use it, Gary Johnson will make it legal with a 100% tax that will make it cost 10% of what it costs now, stimulate the economy, eliminate Federal income tax. Isn't everyone's favorite tax one they don't have to pay?

So let's marijuana legalized so it will be easier to conduct research on so we can better determine the good as well as the bad in marijuana. Marijuana as a drug as been out of control as a drug far too long.
