Leader Pelosi, as the media refers to the woman, says that 43 suits about religious freedom don't mean that Catholics are in favor of the suers. I wonder if she really thinks most Catholics are like her. She isn't really a good Catholic as can be seen by these words.
Besides showing her contempt for fellow Catholic, church teachings and freedom of religious conscience, Pelosi is betraying some serious ignorance of her own church.
It would be strange indeed if anyone other than the pope spoke “ex cathedra” for the church. Ex cathedra, which means “from the chair,” is a tenet invoked by the pope only when a position expressed by the Vatican is absolutely non-negotiable in order to be considered a Catholic — the so-called papal infallibility doctrine.
It appears that Nasty Nancy doesn't really understand some of the Latin terms she like to use in her self-defense. She digs the hole deeper and deeper.

“You know what, I do my religion on Sunday in church. …
Sounds exactly like the kind of Christian that liberals in this forum love to hate on for their "hypocrisy". Must be embarrassing to find out that one of their own is every bit as much of a hypocrite as is claimed in this forum about conservative Christians.

How about you actually quote what she said if you're going to paste the opinion that someone else gave you. That way, those of us who actually work won't have to waste time finding what she said.

All pf my family are churchgoing catholics, much to my disappointment. But, I'm glad to say that each of them votes Dem. the church hierarchy has this grandiose belief that they speak for all of their flock, but they don't.
I have one question for the dragon lady. Is there ANY teaching of the Catholic church she DOES follow? Seriously, every other time she talks about it, she speaks against her own beliefs. Just another, Im a Catholic, but dont really follow it.

Catholics in the USA have traditionally been overwhelmingly Democrats. The Church's teaching on social justice coincides with much of the Democratic Party's agenda. On economic issues the Catholic Church is very liberal, on social issues very conservative. In sum an anti-libertarian agenda.
I am a CINO myself. My libertarian principles go against much of Catholic Doctrine. Unlike Nancy the Loon I recognize my views are not in line with Catholic teachings.
The fact is the Catholic Church has a 1st Amendment right to present their teachings and to be able to refuse to engage in "sinful" activity as defined by them.
Catholics and their occasional adherence to men in funny costumes makes me cringe.
