Wow bus rides sure have changed since I was in school.
We never would have talked this way in front of an adult, let alone to an adult. Although to be honest the bus monitors I had were more likely to get up in your face, go off on you, and dare you to say another word. But that only works if you have any fear of the school system or your parents...kids these days are a different breed.

Many people seem to be blaming this on "kids these days," but I was a kid back in the '80s (into early '90s), and occasionally saw other students acting REALLY awful towards teachers/adults - almost to the extreme of this recent incident. The only difference? We didn't have smartphones to record everything, nor something like Facebook/YouTube where the video could be shared. If I could have recorded some of the crap I saw, it would be just as shocking as this! And I went to private schools in upper-class neighborhoods, so it's not just a class thing either. For the most part my peers were well-behaved and respectful, but we always had those kids who were just plain mean... you've also got that "mob mentality," where otherwise nice kids would get sucked into the action. Sad but true.
America quit giving that lady bullied on the bus money
Seriously? Its up over 700,000 dollars.
Dont get me wrong, I feel bad for her and those kids should be punished
But also its apparent she wasnt doing her job either as a bus monitor, because these kids would already have been reported, and it wouldnt have taken a Youtube video to see their actions.
I think the kind gesture of raising 5000 for a vacation was nice, and now its out of hand
Maybe she will donate a lot to charity.....or we will see her iced out with a diamond grill
Why are people giving this lady money? I'm convinced people are idiots, that money could go to any charity but its going to a woman who took a verbal lashing My bus driver took a lot worse, all the verbal abuse and rubber bands and spitballs. This goes on on practically every middle and high school bus in America, i can't believe some idiots are so sheltered as to be shocked by this
If you feel for her, the best thing you can do at this point to honor is to give to non-profits that go around trying to stop bullying in schools.
