They know for sure that those doctors get paid a lot more for Medicare than they do. Of course, I have the experience with what they can get and not one penny more, even from the insurance company since I have been watching the Medicare quarterly statements for nearly 15 years.

Let them keep howling but we know that I know the truth and they operate from whatever they get from blogs or the media. Also, none of them have the experience with it all that I do.
Why do you accept and use Medicare, Roy? I would think that you of all people would want to be completely independent of the government and pay your own way.

Doesn't your private health insurance cover your care?

It's called hypocrisy.

I don't think that 80% of all doctors are going to go away and just work somewhere else, but I do see more doctors and hospitals capping Medicaid and Medicare and/or taking on less patients from either. As it is hospitals and private practices hate Medicaid (and more people will be on Medicaid if Obamacare stays) because of the low reimbursement rate. Before I moved to SoCal, back in Utah, if you were Medicaid and lived near Salt Lake, the number of dentists for instance, who were willing to have you as a patient was almost non-existent.

What few ever seem to point out is how bad Romneycare is in Massachusetts. Yes, everyone has health insurance. But there is a lack of doctors, and many doctors won't take patients on the state's insurance.

I've actually worked in healthcare and I see nothing good to come from Obamacare. There will indeed be less healthcare for everyone. If pay for doctors, nurses and support staff drops because of lower reimbursement rates, count on their being less healthcare workers. That's a fact. Healthcare is a stressful enough job without having to deal with less and less pay. If there are less healthcare workers, then there will be less options for everyone.

Remember, the health care crisis stared you Pubs in the face for 8 horrific Bush years, and you IGNORED IT.

A budget as required by Law couldn't seem to get done under Crats either.

Oh boy the esteemed DPMA, take that to the bank. The only thing surprising is that this thread went on for 8 pages, incredible.

I find the title of this thread very easy to believe, seriously sad as it is! I know one surgeon that has retired and he's not even 55, and another that's almost 60, I believe it is and he is not working right now but is shopping back in his home-state for a small ranch or farm to invest him.

Yikes, who knew doctors were only qualified for medicine or flipping burgers?
