lol sure yea like they are going to throw away years of education because of a law, what are they gonna do afterwards work at burger king? they aren't going anywhere unless its out of the country.. but oh way, they have universal healthcare there too. so they are going no where
People change careers all the time, lawyers stop practicing law, accountants stop doing tax returns, and doctors stop practicing medicine. In spite of what liberals think doctors are not slaves who have to treat people if they don't want to.
LOL...how can you guys be so cocky as to post stuff like this and think that it'll be believable to anyone with a 1/4 of a brain?
I mean, are you really that arrogant? Get real.
Nursing majors changing their field of study? To what? Sociology? Communication? Who are you kidding?
Here in Arizona, just GETTING into an in-state nursing school in a reasonable time is a tough task because there are so many applicants. My niece wants to get into NAU for Dental Hygiene...there is about a 2 to 3 year wait for even the most qualified applicants.
People that want to go into medicine don't want to do anything else. The overwhelming majority of people aren't cut out for that type of work. Not everyone can draw someones blood, or give someone a bath. Not everyone can watch a childbirth without getting queasy. These people are BORN...they're not really made.
And they aren't going to change their major unless they can't academically hack it. Then and only then will they change majors.
Besides, the HC profession is one of the few secure and growing industries left in this damn country. People just aren't going to drop nursing to become Business Majors.
You guys should be more careful about your stories in the future.
Tell you what. Come back and tell me how right you were five years from now....
